Back 4 Blood Follow Up In the Pipeline; Turtle Rock Working on New Game

Turtle Rock is working on a new game. There is no shortage of suspicions online that a new job announcement may herald a sequel to Back 4 Blood.

Turtle Rock has a brand new game planned. It seems to be similar to the developer's previous work - Back 4 Blood. Information about the project appeared on Glassdoor, where the studio posted a job offer for a senior combat designer. The team is looking for a person who is passionate about FPS games and co-op multiplayer modes and using close combat elements.

Back 4 Blood 2 or a completely new game?

Following the completion of DLCs for Back 4 Blood (the latest of which - River of Blood - was released last December), Turtle Rock has decided to devote itself to another game. Fans are wondering whether it will be a sequel to Back 4 Blood or an entirely new title. Although there are not yet many details about this project , there are speculations that it may simply be Back 4 Blood 2, given the studio's previous experience in creating zombie shooters.

Back 4 Blood had aspirations to become a worthy successor to the Left 4 Dead series. After its release in October 2021, the game gained considerable popularity, but as time passed, the number of players decreased. It is worth noting that this was not the first failure of the company. We are of course referring to Evolve - the developers tried to save this title, changing the business model to free-to-play, but without success.

Let's hope that the studio will use this experience to create a new game that will become popular and gain recognition among players.
