Huge WWII DLC for Arma 3 Now Available

Arma III has received a new major expansion. The DLC, titled Spearhead 1944 was created by Heavy Ordnance Works studio as part of the Creator DLC program (through which various developers can create their own expansion for Bohemia Interactive's work).

The DLC is priced at $18, but until August 1 players can buy it 10% off. The DLC is available on Steam, and at the time these words are written, the DLC's reception is "mixed"- of all reviews given by players, 68% are positive.

1. Arma 3 Creator DLC: Spearhead 1944 takes us back to World War II.
2. The DLC offers a new map - Normandy - with an area of 150 square kilometers.
3. The developers have prepared five playable factions, more than 50 types of weapons and 40 types of vehicles and stationary armaments. The DLC also includes many new objects, NPCs and uniforms.
4. In addition to seven extensive missions to be played in cooperative mode for up to 24 players, there are six multiplayer scenarios to be tried in Combat Patrol, Escape, Warlords and Zeus modes, as well as a single-player mission titled Der Zahnarzt (which can also be played in cooperative mode).
5. The DLC is accompanied by a data pack made available for free on Steam Workshop. Subscribing to this Workshop component enables players who do not own the described DLC to play on servers using its resources. However, this does not include Normandy, which, along with campaigns and scenarios, is available only to those who bought the expansion.
