- Back 4 Blood has already been played by over 6 million people;
- Game Pass players are also included in the score;
- The developers are working on a voting option to kick players who make life miserable for the rest of the team.
Turtle Rock has reasons to be happy. The team boasted that since the release Back 4 Blood has already been played by over 6 million people. The game debuted on October 12 this year and was released simultaneously on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
It should be noted that this does not mean at all that the game has sold six million copies. This is due to the fact that since its market debut, the project has been available as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription on both Microsoft consoles and Windows 10 PCs.
The result of six million players in two weeks since launch is impressive and bodes well for the game's future. Success of Back 4 Blood can also be seen from the data from Steam. In the first weekend after the debut, the production set an activity record at the level of 65,987 people. After that it could not be beaten, but the daily "highs" reach 30-40 thousand users.
The long-term success of the game will depend on the pace of its development and the speed of reaction to the suggestions of the community. One of the problems currently troubling Back 4 Blood are the so-called griefers, i.e. people whose only goal is to make other players' lives miserable. However, we have good news here. Turtle Rock Studios has announced that the team is working on an option that will enable team members to vote on kicking one of their teammates from a session. Unfortunately, no information was provided as to when exactly we can expect this feature to be implemented.
