Developers from Gearbox Software released a DLC to Risk of Rain 2 called Seekers of the Storm. Moreover, the game is on a big sale right now. So, no wonder that many players decided to come back to the title and try out new features. One of them is a fresh item called Warped Echo. You should avoid it.

Avoid Warped Echo in Risk of Rain 2 (RoR2)

Theoretically Warped echo is supposed to just split incoming damage, and this feature should suit well with some builds. However, it seems that not all works as intended. If you decide to use this item, there is a high chance that you will be softlocked. Many players report that they encountered a bug which causes them to be immune but at the same time they can’t kill opponents or use skills and items. As you can see, it is not a fun situation. The only common factor in all stories seems to be the new item – Warped Echo. So, watch out.

Taking into consideration that the bug is quite serious, and many people experience it, we suspect that it will be fixed soon. If you happen to encounter it, make sure to report it to developers, as it remains to wait for a patch. Until then try to avoid Warped Echo.

Don’t be discouraged by the bug, though, as Risk of Rain 2 is a good game. It is on our list of the best roguelike titles 2023, so you should definitely give it a chance. It is a good moment to test RoR2, as there is 67% sale on Steam right now.
