Solo Leveling was a phenomenal success last year, making the season 2 of the anime one of the most anticipated productions of 2025. And the series returned in early January, allowing viewers to already watch 2 episodes of the new series.

And already these two episodes were enough to encourage viewers who are ready to embark on a new adventure with Jinwoo. Taito Ban, the actor lending his voice to Jinwoo, is also encouraging viewers to continue following the 2nd season of Solo Leveling. In an interview for GamerBraves, he assures us that this season will have even more impressive action to look forward to.

Even though the first season was so well executed… in the grand scheme of the story of the series, it is still the prologue. The second season brings in more characters into the mix and with the expansion of the cast… the world is going to expand far beyond just the dungeon that he was leveling in. With the threat of Igris looming again, the fights are going to be 10 times flashier, 10 times more impressive.

Season 1, which impressed viewers so much, is supposed to be just an introduction to the story, while it's not until the 2nd series of Solo Leveling that things are supposed to get into full swing, with fans expected to witness “10 times flashier, 10 times more impressive” fights.

And indeed in the season we should expect even better fights with Igris on board and Jinwoo finding himself in a completely different place than at the beginning of the 1st series. The hero is stronger and more dangerous than ever.

You can watch Solo Leveling on Crunchyroll.
