Crafting | Professions (Crafting) Neverwinter Guide

Professions are the crafting skills in Neverwinter. You can create class-specific armors, gain experience, gold, rough astral diamonds, containers with various items. Crafting is unlocked at level 10, you can level up any and each of the following professions: Leadership, Leatherworking, Tailoring, Mailsmithing, Platesmithing, Alchemy. To open crafting panel press "N" key.
In Neverwinter crafting is based on hiring workers to do tasks of your choice, you can perform 1 to 9 tasks at once, they are unlocked with your character progression and professions progression:
1: Reach level 10
2: Reach level 30
3: Reach level 60
4: Get any profession to level 3
5: Get any profession to level 10
6: Get any profession to level 20
7: Get 3 professions to level 20
8: Complete a task with at least a 100% speed bonus
9: Complete a task and earn the Rank 3 result
Each profession is useful for different classes, table below presents quick overview what each profession can do:

Mailsmithing | 15-30 minutes | Directs mailsmiths in creating armor for Devoted Clerics and Great Weapon Fighters. | |
Platesmithing | 15-30 minutes | Directs platesmiths in creating armor for Guardian Fighters. | |
Leatherworking | 15-30 minutes | Directs leatherworkers in creating armor for Trickster Rogues. | |
Tailoring | 15-30 minutes | Directs tailors in creating armor for Control Wizards. | |
Alchemy | 15-30 minutes | Directs alchemists in creating potions and dyes. |
Because each task requires a worker you need to start from hiring your first rank 1 worker (later you will be able to convert 4 workers to higher rank worker required for tasks providing better rewards.
Harder tasks require better workers (higher in rank) and/or additional resources.
Apart of workers you will use various crafting resources to craft items, they can be bought from professions vendor, can be found or created with other crafting tasks.
