The desert is one of the locations you can explore in Mr Prepper. On this page of the guide, you will find information related to Desert trips.

To start exploring the Desert in Mr Prepper, you first have to complete 2 story missions for Bob from the mine to unlock the Junkyard. In the Junkyard, you will find a car – it is in the right corner of the location. The vehicle needs repair (you can do that by using metal). When you fix the car, you will be able to go to the Desert.

You have to fill up the car - the tank can hold up to 20 liters. You need at least 4 liters to be able to move to one location. If you want to keep traveling, you will need the equivalent amount of fuel. You can refuel your car with fuel found in the desert.

Exploration is divided into two stages. The first is a mini-game in which you have to avoid obstacles. Hold down the LMB or Spacebar to change lanes (don't just click - you have to hold down the key for a while to avoid bigger obstacles).

RMB/Shift activates a boost - you will need it to launch from ramps that start appearing in the 2nd or 3rd part of the stage. When you see the blue icon (first a bigger circle, then a smaller one - try to start with a smaller circle), start accelerating with the boost to jump over obstacles.

Crashing after a jump and hitting obstacles will cause damage (red bar). You can only receive 4 damage in total - then the car will require repair. This also immediately ends the trip (you will lose the fuel in the car's tank). At each stop, you can repair the car if you have enough metal.

You will always encounter enemies in the Desert. These are snakes (bigger and smaller) and/or wolves. Sometimes, they move freely around the location, and other times, you will have to win 3 rounds (just like the fights in the Forest cave) to continue. Search boxes, take furniture and objects from the ground. You'll usually find a lot of junk and canned food here. In the chests, there are some materials or home electronics. Sometimes, you can find tools or even a shotgun.
