This chapter of the guide to Marvel's Spider-Man contains the description of the main mission titled "Financial Shock". The Shocker is back - this time he is not playing around and simply trying to escape, as he challenges Peter directly!

You will immediately be thrown into a fight with the Shocker. The opponent creates powerful waves that will knock Spider-Man back and deal a lot of damage. Your top priority will be to dodge his attacks - dance around the enemy and avoid his incoming blows. Do not approach him trying to attack, as he has surrounded himself with a force field.

Your time to strike is when the foe stops attacking and will be idle for a moment. Grab, e.g. some debris with the help of L1 + R1 and throw it at the enemy. Then press the triangle button to finally deal some damage to the Shocker.

It is time for round two. Stay away from the enemy and jump away from his attacks. At some point, the enemy will charge you - step back and let him execute a strong area of effect attack. He will be weakened for a moment - grab another item and launch it at your opponent. This will create the opportunity to dish out even more blows.

After the attack, repeat the exact same technique and deal further damage to the enemy. You will see a cutscene at one point, and afterwards, you will be returned to the fight. This time, the enemy will change his fighting style and will create more waves on the ground, which can be problematic for you to avoid. I recommend pressing R2 and swinging on the web, constantly circling around the enemy. When the foe creates a strong shockwave, throw another object at him.

After a few successful strikes, you will once again see a cutscene and the Shocker will be grounded by your web. Circle around the enemy, and when you see him regenerating, press L1 + R1 to tamper with a piece of the dome located over his head. When you do this a few times, the ceiling will fall onto the enemy and you will win the boss encounter. The mission will end and you will gain 2,500 XP.
