The life of a realtor as shown in House Flipper 2 is full of responsibilities. Before a house is market-ready, you need to clean every stain or speck of dirt, connect the electricity properly, and apply paint to all walls that need it. This is why in our guide we listed all the actions that a house should go through before being ready, and explain how to perform them.
Manual work
The most basic action for a house-flipping entrepreneur in the renovating phase is manual work, through which you carry heavy objects and take them outside. Additionally to this category belong actions such as unpacking boxes and furnishing the apartment/house.
Finally, you can buy items/furniture that the client required and plant them in the living space according to your own taste.
Cleaning
Nobody likes filth, especially if the whole apartment has seen better days. One of your tasks as a house flipper will be thorough cleaning of the house from all dirt, stains, and dust. Sponge with a cloth and a cleaning spray will be your tools for this. To perform the action of cleaning, hold the left mouse button. Additionally, for a complete clean, look for touch-to-access locations, as behind furniture, ceiling, or in corners.
Another Cleaning action you can do is washing windows. They are often dusty, so approach them with a cloth and start washing them. To complete the action, simply hold the left mouse button and cover all stains.
After flipping a few initial houses, you'll receive a vacuum cleaner that can deal with smaller clutter easily, such as leaves or shards of broken glass. Just equip it and hold down LMB to clean.
The final Cleaning action is putting trash and other unneeded items in garbage bags. These include debris, scattered planks, or shreds of newspapers. Simply click on each element to put it in the garbage bag. When the current garbage bag is full, close it and throw it into the trash bin.
We also recommend checking out Perks that allow more trash in a garbage bag before filling up, which will make trips to the trashcan less frequent.
Building and demolishing walls
To destroy walls, you need a hammer, which you will receive after completing several initial orders. You can demolish division walls - walls inside a house. All material that was removed by the process will fall to the ground. Usually, these are remains of old brick walls. The longer you hold the left mouse button, the more of the wall you will get rid of.
In the same phase of the game, you'll receive the spatula, which you can use to lay walls. Possible options with this are, e.g. the ability to create two smaller rooms from one large space. To do this, first you need to choose the area where you want to lay a wall, and when a location is chosen, hold LMB, and your avatar will perform all necessary actions (among others, lay mortar and plant rows of bricks). Remember, however, that the longer the wall, the higher the costs!
Repairing walls and painting them
When scouting potential apartments, you'll surely encounter torn wallpaper and walls with visible bricks. This is where the Surface Finishes option will come in handy. For finishing, you first need to buy specific wallpaper or tiles at the store. Having brought them to the apartment, put them on the floor, and once they are at hand, click on one of them with left mouse button. You'll now be able to plant them on the walls or floor.
The same applies to the roller and paint, which you can also buy in the store. Once the wall is done, you can proceed to decorating walls according to your taste or client's wishes. Remember to sell leftover paint to save money!
Both painting and placing tiles can be more effective and less time-consuming if you acquire related Perks. Thanks to them, you'll be able to carry much more, and, when it comes to painting, the roller will cover more area of the wall, and in the case of tile-laying, single presses will place tiles in a larger area.
