Mission 4 - Anville - Dwarves Campaign Walkthrough Hex Commander Guide & Walkthrough

The Dwarves reach Anville where they must defend themselves from the Goblins.
In this mission, the enemy has only two types of units - Wolves and Goblin Archers. Your task is to defend Anville (1). The enemy will attack you from 4 directions. The groups approaching you from the north and the east are weaker and less numerous. Your units stationing there won't have any problems with defeating the enemies in a few turns.
The southern (2) and western (3) sides of the village need the most help. The best way to do that is to place Thurvid who will slow the enemies down. Keep your ranged units in the back, away from the enemy's reach. Axe throwers have great range so place them inside the village (4). Use the buildings to provide cover to your units and block the enemy's line of fire.
Every entrance to the village has fortifications - place your infantry there. These positions will allow your troops to fight with Wolves or defend from Goblin Archers' fire for a longer period of time. If you have to, summon Vahan or additional soldiers through the teleport (on the normal difficulty, the starting units should be enough for you to win). Once you defeat the enemies in the north and the west, move your units to the weakest part of the front.
