Miners - Dwarven units in Hex Commander
A light infantry unit. Very mobile, but with weak armor and small damage. At level 1, Miners have a small number of health points. After upgrading them to the maximum level, their health points are the same as Dwarven Hammer. Miners' special ability is their biggest advantage. With every hit, they reduce an enemy's defense by half. This effect lasts for a few turns and it gives you a perfect opportunity to eliminate that enemy with other units. Thanks to their mobility, they can catch enemies, lower their defense and then run away. The rest of your units will finish that enemy off. Even though they have a lot of soldiers within a unit, they are quite vulnerable to ranged and melee attacks. Keep Miners behind the first line and order them to attack strong units. They will weaken them for the rest for your army. You can also attack enemy units with a few Miners squads.
