Nobody: The Turnaround Description
Nobody: The Turnaround is a life simulation and survival game with RPG elements. Game was developed by U.Ground Game Studio team.
Plot
Nobody: The Turnaround takes us on a journey to the world that resembles modern reality. The game doesn't offer a great adventure, instead letting us impersonate an ordinary man living in the suburbs. He tries to improve the quality of his life by working, improving his skills and facing various problems.
Game mechanics
In Nobody: The Turnaround we observe the action from a top-down view. The gameplay is designed in such a way as to best reflect the everyday life of an ordinary man. We spend a lot of time on work, which is presented in the form of various mini-games, and on developing skills connected with it. The game allows us to try ourselves in a variety of professions, and although we take our first steps as a bricklayer or a letter carrier, over time we can climb the career ladder, gaining more and more lucrative positions.
Since work is not the only thing you live on, and you need to do something with the money you earn (besides spending it on satisfying the basic needs of the protagonist), from time to time we can (and even should) engage in various forms of entertainment, such as playing basketball or chess, visiting internet cafes or shopping. The game also features an extensive social system, thanks to which we get to know other residents of the city and establish closer or further relations with them.
How we cope and what we do in the virtual life is not without effect on the physical and mental condition of our character. Injury can disable him from work for some time, sleeping on the street (if he has a bad day and can't afford a place to live) can make him ill, and working for too little money can lead to a nervous breakdown.
Game modes
In addition to the story mode, Nobody: The Turnaround offers a sandbox mode, in which our actions are not limited in any way.
Technical aspects
Graphics in Nobody: The Turnaround is made in cel-shading technique. The whole game is in a rather gloomy, grayish-brown color scheme.
