Game Unavailable on Steam Among Store's Biggest November Launches

Among November's biggest launches on Steam we find a game titled Nobody: The Turnaround, which was pulled from sale a day after its early access debut.

Valve has published a list of the biggest launches of November 2022 on Steam. The criterion was the revenue generated within two weeks of the debut. Traditionally, specific sales results or even the correct order of titles were not revealed. That's why we added the estimates from the paid version of SteamSpy to the list. Unfortunately, they can sometimes be severely inaccurate, but it's better than nothing.

The month was full of big debuts - such highly anticipated games as Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, Football Manager 2023, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Sonic Frontiers have hit the market. The strangest case is Nobody: The Turnaround. It's a survival game from Chinese studio U.Ground, which debuted in early access on November 17 and a day later was pulled from sale due to lack of compatibility with older versions of Windows. Until now, a month later, the title is still not available for purchase in Valve's store.

According to SteamSpy estimates, sales of Nobody: The Turnaround have exceeded one million copies (a lot of this comes from key stores, where the title could be bought after it was pulled from sale on Steam). It is possible that this result is a bit exaggerated, but there is no doubt that the game has sold very well, as its activity record stands at 82,000 concurrent users. On top of that, the reception of the title is warm - among the player reviews of the last 30 days, 79% praise the title.

The biggest DLC launches in November on Steam

SteamSpy does not provide estimates for DLCs, so the following order is random:

  1. Propakiet: Desert Villain To Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
  2. American Truck Simulator: Texas
  3. Farming Simulator 22 - Platinum Expansion
  4. Los Angeles Thieves Pack - Call of Duty League 2023
  5. Initial Pack - Call of Duty League

November's biggest free launches (by concurrent player count)

Valve also released an additional list, including the most popular F2P launches of November. In this case, the criterion was the number of players. We have sorted the following list according to the overall activity record of a given game (obtained from SteamDB estimates), and not just that achieved last month, as this gives a better idea of the level of success a given game has achieved on Steam.

Game:

Current activity record according to SteamDB:

1.

TRAHA Global

8038

2.

Summoners War: Chronicles

4787

3.

Fangs

2702

4.

dle Monster TD: Evolved

1085

Here, the weak debut of Fangs is particularly noteworthy, which had ambitions to stir up the MOBA genre. Behind the project is Steve "Guinsoo" Feak, one of the key modders in the early stages of development of the DotA-Allstars mod (even before IceFrog took over the project) and one of the main designers of League of Legends. As you can see, his latest work has been largely ignored by fans of the genre.
