Darktide Cosmetic Shop Rotation Explained
The cosmetic shop in Darktide undergoes a periodic rotation. Find out how often the available items change in this guide.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide features a shop, where the players can get items and bundles to customize their look. However, not all cosmetics are available at the same time. There is a rotation, which means that every so often, current items are taken out of the lineup and new ones are introduced. With enough cycles, old skins may come back as well. Here is how frequently the shop changes.
Darktide Cosmetic Shop Rotation Explained
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a first person co-op shooter developed by Fatshark. The title is based on the iconic and popular wargame. Inspired by such a rich universe, the creators of Darktide prepared many skins, some of which can be bought at the item shop with premium currency.
However, some of the players may be surprised to find out that the cosmetic shop only has a limited selection of items available. This is because the skins rotate at set intervals, with the oldest ones leaving, and new ones being added. It means that if you really like a particular cosmetic, you might want to get it while you can, or it may be a long time before it comes back along. On the other hand, if there is nothing that grabs your interest, you have to wait to see if the fresh batch of skins will be more your taste.
The lineup in the cosmetic shop changes every other Friday, so, once in every two weeks. However, not all skins are changed at once; it’s only one page out of six, the oldest, that is rotated out, with a new one replacing it. As follows, it takes 6 weeks for the shop to be completely refreshed. Some old items may be rerun as well.
The shop rotations have caused some controversy among players; however, there is no indication so far that this might be changed by the developers.
