An economic strategy simulation game, created by Dutch studio Gamious. It is set in the 19th century America, during the oil drilling rush. You play as one of the daredevils who trust their luck and dream of an oil tycoon career, possibly also resulting in them becoming a mayor of some American town. You start the game by purchasing the necessary licenses and setting out to search for the deposits, and then finally you build your wells, where you extract the oil. As your business develops, you invest in upgrades, which increase the efficiency of your work and the amount of extracted resources. You also have to care for the proper storage and profitable selling of the oil on the local market, while by monitoring your competitors' activities, you may e.g. enter into various shady arrangements to undermine them.

Goat Simulator is a humorous simulator that serves as a commercial extension of the joke game made by Swedish Coffee Stain (known primarily from the Sanctum series). The game lets you control a crazy goat named Pilgor which destroys everything in the virtual world. The goal is to cause as much damage as possible with the use of a wide range of absurd accessories, like rockets, explosives, etc. It was the developers’ ambition to create a big cliché parody, mocking low-budget simulators. Therefore, Goat Simulator features loads of purposely implemented humorous bugs. The editor gives you a chance to create your own levels and share them with others through the Internet. On the technical side, the game utilizes the power of Unreal Engine 3.

Another installment in a popular series of racing games developed by Codemasters. In contrast to DiRT - the other flagship franchise of the British developer, GRID: Autosport continues the tradition established by the TOCA Touring Car Championship and TOCA Race Driver series, that is, racing on asphalt tracks. The player assumes the role of a professional driver who competes against other racers, but he also has to care about his team members and stick to sponsorship contracts. This new installment offers 22 different tracks and over a hundred customizable cars, including both production models as well a unique prototypes - all of these account for an impressive number. The game offers improved visuals and a cockpit view, which is an element that GRID 2 was deprived of. A large emphasis was placed on the multiplayer aspects of the game, for the players are allowed to create online racing clubs, as well as to participate in subsequent, regularly appearing challenges.

This lead to it being ridiculed by others due to having a German father.

A continuation of The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt - a popular action game with strategy elements developed by the Polish studio Home Net Games. Like its predecessor, The Pirate: Plague of the Dead takes the players to Caribbean islands, until recently under control of the pirate community. The main protagonist of the story is John Rackham, who is the only survivor of the slaughter orchestrated by the Grand Inquisitor. Seeking his revenge, John turned to voodoo practices in order to resurrect legendary pirates such as Anne Bonny, Charles Vane, or Blackbeard. Together with the pirates brought from the dead, the protagonist wants to deal with his archenemy once and for all. The Pirate: Plague of the Dead features a vast open world the player is free to explore with one of over a dozen available ships. On their journey, the player has to observe not only the wind direction and velocity, but also use this information to choose the appropriate type of sails. To top it all, the game delivers a dynamic day and night cycle as well as changing weather conditions. This installment in The Pirate series is fueled by campaign missions that lead the player through consecutive parts of the story. In between these missions, one can turn to other activities that fill the treasury allowing for expanding and improving the fleet controlled by the player. Gameplay revolves around naval battles, during which one can ram into the enemy vessels, shoot the cannons at particular parts of hostile ships, and utilize special combat abilities exhibited by the captains. The entire experience features high-quality visuals – one is bound to appreciate the well-polished ship models and water animations.

An action game set in the world of pirates. Created by Miroslaw Dymek, a legendary Polish game maker responsible for series such as Earth 21XX or Polanie. The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt lacks a main storyline driving the gameplay. The action takes place in an extensive, open-world environment recreating a large part of the Caribbean. The player controls a captain of a pirate ship, whose aim is to gain fame and riches at sea. The game consists of completing subsequent missions that focus mainly on combat and exploration. The player plunders cargo ships, pirate bases, forts, and harbors. Between the missions, the player can make improvements to their fleet, choosing from sixteen diversified classes of ships, upgraded alongside their progress in the game. In-game sailing features realistic mechanics, making it a great asset to the game - this element was based on the personal experiences of the creator, who is an avid sailor himself. The game has offers extended online features as well, allowing the players to create their own pirate clans.

A sandbox naval strategy game set in golden age of sailing ships. Players assume the role of a captain who leads his crew for far away expeditions. An open world lets them decide which missions to take and how to develop their career. There is a main storyline to discover, in which the players try to foil the plans of a mysterious cult that wants to bring the apocalypse. Abandon Ship offers a system of tactical, real time battles that require usage of various maneuvers and skillful crew management. Players’ character and their crew gain experience, and the ship can also be upgraded. However, it is impossible to recover a sunken ship, meaning that a captain of such a vessel must build his position from scratch, of course if he survives – otherwise the players must start from the beginning. Abandon Ship uses an interesting visual style, resembling oil paintings of the 19th century.
