Simulation sports game and economic strategy project, in which we play the role of a stud heir and a rider at the same time. In Rival Stars Horse Racing we take part in races, develop our own ranch and breed horses.

Rival Stars Horse Racing is a horse-riding game that combines sports simulation and economic strategy. The game was developed by PikPok Studio.

Plot

In Rival Stars Horse Racing we play the role of an heir of a ruined ranch. Our task is to restore the place to its former glory and become a true legend of horse riding.

Mechanics

In Rival Stars Horse Racing we get our own horse farm, which we have to restore to its former glory. In order to do that we hire workers, as well as renovate and construct various buildings, including stables and training infrastructure. For all this we need money, which we earn by taking part in races or betting on their results.

If we want to be victorious, we should first of all train under the supervision of a specialist (whom we have to hire first) and make sure that the horses feel as good as possible in our stud (which means that relatively soon we have to think about hiring caretakers). With time, we gain the funds that allow us to buy new, better mounts. Keeping in mind that each of them is different, has individual characteristics and its own set of strengths and weaknesses, we can also engage in breeding them. The system implemented in the game allows us to crossbreed horses, which, in turn, allows us to gain mounts that are better suited to our growing needs. As we progress, we accumulate enough money to be able to spend it on various cosmetic accessories for mounts and our rider.

Apart from races, which take place on tracks inspired by real locations scattered around the world, the game allows us to ride a mount also in our farm. Nothing stands in the way of setting off for a peaceful ride through the surrounding forests and meadows at any time.

Game modes

Apart from the single player mode, the PC version, Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition, includes a multiplayer mode, in which we race against other players.

Technical aspects

Graphics of Rival Stars Horse Racing does not look particularly impressive. Nevertheless, the whole thing is colorful and clear, and the animations were developed using motion capture technology.
