An independent retro RPG, which combines elements of a detective game and a horror. The main protagonist of Pixel Noir is trying to solve a mystery of the tragic events from a decade ago when his partner died, leading to him quitting work as a police officer, as he unjustly was sentenced to jail. After being released, he begins to work as a private detective and tries to solve minor cases, until finally, he finds a lead that might help him get the answers that have been taunting him for years.

What is unusual about the game is that we are controlling flaccid penises with wiggly anuses. Our "protagonist" can be dressed up in various clothes which will make him somewhat unique and easy to distinguish among the other "characters" controlled by the rest of the players.

In the game you control two soldiers, whose job is to nip any developing conflicts in the bud.

The game, designed exclusively for one player, consists in building various constructions of gelatinous slurry balls, i.e. the title Goo, which is permanently disturbed by gravity and other laws of physics. The title, characterized by specific visual setting and original situational humour, was considered one of the most original games of 2008.

Dark Devotion is a two-dimensional action game by French team Hibernian Workshop. Production takes us to the gloomy fantasy land, ruled by omnipotent church. Players control the warrior trained by the religious order, sent on a mission to purify the cursed temple. During the game we deal mainly with exploration, solving puzzles and most of all fighting. Skirmishes are played at a slow pace, requiring the right timing of attacks and effective anticipation of enemies' movements.

Fight of Gods resembles other fighting games such as Capcom's Street Fighter IV, so the character models are 3D, and the battles are set in two-dimensional environments. Each fighter features a unique set of moves and special attacks, which have to be learned by heart and used to chain spectacular combos to efficiently fight both AI and other players.

It was inspired by Robert Frost's poem of the same title. The action of the game takes place in mystical forest full of dangers and the player becomes a guard whose task is to find lost children.

A hybrid of action game and arcade shooter developed by the independent studio Witch Beam. The plot is set in a distant future. The protagonist is the eponymous Cactus, a police android whose task is to reclaim an interstellar frigate called Genki Star from rebelling robots. The gameplay of Assault Android Cactus is focused on fighting hordes of enemies. There are eight playable characters at our disposal, each different mainly in terms of weaponry.

Our task is to investigate the deck of a spacecraft with which communication was unexpectedly lost and to determine what happened to its crew. Although the game is extremely short, it skillfully grades the tension and plays with the player's feelings and fears.
Helldivers

Helldivers is an arcade cooperative science fiction shooter developed by Arrowhead, creators of the humorous action RPG Magicka. The game takes place in a distant future where players take the roles of the members of the elite Helldivers unit whose job is to protect the politically divided planet known as Super Earth. It was attacked by three alien races. Players have to finish procedurally generated missions in order to save mankind.
