Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Our job is to bring back peace and order. To do so, we have to face the self-proclaimed separatists.
Evolve

A science-fiction first-person perspective online shooter in which the focus was placed on cooperation. The title was developed by the creators of the Left 4 Dead series – studio Turtle Rock. In many aspects Evolve is similar to the titles in the aforementioned series. The game takes place in an undetermined future and focuses on four-player teams hunting alien beasts. The members of the team belong to four different classes with various abilities that supplement each other during the game.

A third-person action game in a quasi-historical setting, with a focus on online competition. The production was developed by the experienced studio Ubisoft Montreal, whose portfolio includes several cult series, including Far Cry and Assassin's Creed. In the game, three factions are pitted against each other: The Chosen, The Legions, and The Warborn, modeled after the Japanese samurai, European knights, and Scandinavian Vikings respectively.

Players have the opportunity to take part in hunting for seven species of wild animals, including deer, elks and Canadian moufflons. The creators prepared several variants of the game, allowing the virtual hunters to demonstrate accuracy, mastery and reflexes.

The Earth is attacked by aliens again, and the players, who represent the eponymous organization, have to repel the invasion. Unlike the cartoonish and more arcade-like Battlefield Heroes (2009), Battlefield Play4Free strives to be more realistic, which makes it similar to the major installments of the franchise. The mechanics of the game are a combination of those of the classic Battlefield 2 (most popular maps) and those of Bad Company 2, released a year before (character classes and weapons).

Line of Sight: Vietnam is a first person shooter produced by nFusion Interactive studio, the action of which was set in the realities of the Vietnam War. The player takes on the role of sniper of an elite commandos unit, who is delegated to perform a number of dangerous missions. Creators of the game took care of, among others, detailed 3D graphics and multi-player mode of play.
