Real Football 2017
Sports
January 1, 2017
Real Football 2017 is another installment of the sports game series developed by the French studio Gameloft. Gameplay mechanics are very much similar to those we will find in FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer series. We lead a football team and play more and more matches. We will be responsible for football transfers, developing the skills of our players, and healing their injuries. Matches are accompanied by a commentary similar to that from TV sports broadcasts. The game offers both single player and multiplayer modes. Real Football 2017 has quite good 3D visuals. We can change the camera angle during the matches and while watching replays.
PES 2017 -Pro Evolution Soccer-
Sports
May 23, 2017
A mobile version of the sports game Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. The edition released for smartphones and tablets using Android and iOS was based on the popular myClub mode. The player gathers cards featuring footballers and uses them to build their dream team. The game gives an opportunity to take direct control of footballers during matches played against other users and when competing against the AI. The experience combines arcade elements with a bit of simulation and tactics. The application was created in cooperation with several large football clubs, including FC Barcelona, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund. This allowed the developer to recreate the movement styles and appearances of top footballers with attention to detail (above all, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique). The game's visuals constitute its another advantage, as PES 2017 -Pro Evoluton Soccer- is one of the best-looking games of this kind available on mobile devices.
Championship Manager 17
Sports
August 11, 2016
A football manager from one of the most popular series of the genre. Championship Manager 17 is a free-to-play mobile game with microtransactions, developed by Square Enix's internal studio. As always, we assume the role of a manager running a football club, whose task is to lead his organization onto a path to victory and financial success. The player’s responsibilities include making transfers, organization of training sessions, and preparation of tactical plans for the matches. Of course, balancing the budget is a key issue, the one above all others. Championship Manager 17 makes use of an extensive database built on official licenses. The authors included up-to-date statistics and line-ups, a more realistic approach and an improved interface. Other novelties include the ability to hire assistants, who can relieve us from some duties, and a two-dimensional graphic engine, allowing us to follow the matches live, and modify tactics on the fly.

Additionally, FIFA mobile includes minigames, referencing the real-life current football events. You can start your own league, compete in online rankings with other teams, and build your team according to the Ultimate Team mode. The game utilizes the free-to-play mode with optional microtransactions, and the official license allowed for implementing 30 leagues, 650 teams and over 17000 players.
PES Club Manager
Sports
June 8, 2015
A mobile football manager and a spin-off of the famed Pro Evolution Soccer series developed by Konami. In contrast with the poorly-received 2014 edition, which was an attempt to compete with FIFA Ultimate Team, this time we are looking at a serious sports manager which offers more than 5000 licensed players from Europe and South America. In contrast to other football managers, PES Club Manager keeps to the football side of the sport – our duties include picking a team, tactics, and training schedule, as well as transfers. We are also responsible for the development of the club’s infrastructure: building stadium improvements, club center, offices, youngling schools, scouting agency, fan-club headquarters, medical center, or training fields. When it comes to graphics, the game employs a three-dimensional match engine, known from previous major installments of the series.

Players’ tasks include devising tactics, formations, and initial team composition as well as taking active part in matches or simply watching them. FIFA 16 Ultimate Team features a new match engine which enabled the developers to implement control over the events in a match with both gestures and virtual buttons. Moreover, the artificial intelligence was enhanced, the quality of graphics and animation was improved, and the characteristic celebrating after a footballer scores a goal was implemented. Contrary to its predecessor, the player can trade footballers and collectible cards.

Football Manager Touch 2016
Sports
November 26, 2015
A simplified version of Football Manager 2016 - another installment in the bestselling sports manager games series. It was developed by Sports Interactive with mobile platforms in mind. In the game, we assume the role of a manager of a football club playing league games of one of 50 countries. In comparison with the full-fledged installments of the series, the title lacks a number of business aspects of managing a club, focusing mostly on player selection and setting up match tactics. In addition, the manager's job includes the handling of player transfers and sales of the best players. Compared to its predecessor, Football Manager Touch 2016 is significantly more complex. We can watch every match thanks to implementation of the game engine known from the PC version. Moreover, the game offers a new mode, Create-A-Club, which allows us to form our very own football club from scratch.
Football Manager Mobile 2016
Sports
November 18, 2015
Another mobile edition of one of the most popular football management simulators series developed by Sports Interactive. Compared to the full-fledged installments in the franchise, Football Manager Mobile 2016 offers somewhat simplified gameplay, although it has many more features than Football Manager Touch 2016, also for mobile devices, which was released simultaneously. The trade-off is that the database is limited to the 14 most important world leagues. The gameplay itself does not deviate from the standard solutions of the series – in the game, we have to select a proper squad for each match, decide on player transfers, set training plans, as well as take care of the club’s budget and our employees’ and supporters’ satisfaction. Compared to its predecessors, the production was enriched with a number of novelties and enhancements, particularly an improved interface, new tactical instructions, and an extensive training module.
Active Soccer 2
Sports
January 30, 2015
An arcade soccer game inspired by the classic Sensible Soccer series. The game was developed by an Italian studio The Fox Software, which specializes in this genre - it is popular mainly for such games as Ico Soccer for Nintendo DS or Throw In for PCs; the latter being a remake of the classic title Kick Off 2. The game focuses on delivering an arcade experience and is played from a classic aerial view. The player does not have to get accustomed to using many buttons. The game offers over 800 national and league teams from all over the world, giving an opportunity to play different kinds of matches. Unfortunately, Active Soccer 2 does not use official licenses, but the creators included a simple team editor, so the player does not have to use the default club and footballer names. One can play friendly matches, as well as both league and cup games, apart from taking part in the career mode, which is complemented by a simplistic management module, requiring the player to develop adequate tactics, supervise transfers and take care of funding-related issues. Active Soccer 2 also offers a cross-platform online mode.
