An action-adventure game featuring elements of platforming, set in a fantasy version of Mexico's Sierra Tarahumara. The game was inspired by legends and cultural achievements of the Tarahumara tribal people living in the region. Sukurúame, the protagonist and a shaman, sets out for a long journey aiming to gain the trust of gods watching over the region. The mission is to save the inhabitants from total destruction that is already on its way.

A Hat in Time lets us play as Hat Kid, a girl who travels in time, fights villains and solves numerous puzzles. During the campaign, we visit five varied worlds and try to foil the plan of Mustache Girl. Hat Kid uses a special umbrella that acts as e.g. parachute, weapon and even propeller.
