Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Kirby Star Allies

The game was developed for Nintendo Switch and – similarly to previous entries in the series – it enables the player to assume the role of the titular character, who travels through vast and varied levels. During the game they must jump between platforms, avoid traps and dangers and fight encountered enemies, among which there are large, powerful bosses.
Deep Rock Galactic

We play as dwarven astronauts who work on mining the resources in caverns that even the bravest of the bravest would not even think of entering. A team made of four characters (there are four classes available: Driller, Navigator, Engineer, and Gunner) explores the procedurally generated maps in search of minerals and resources.
Call of Duty: WWII

The game comes back to its roots and takes the players to the World War II era. We play as "Red" Daniels (member of the famous 1st Infantry Division) and take part in a series of the most important battles of WWII, including Normandy, Ardennes, the Liberation of Paris, and the Battle of Berlin. We will use all kinds of weapons as we play.
Zombie Night Terror

Players become the brains of a zombie apocalypse of the purest form, and their task is to spread the epidemic across the whole world. The main issue is the intelligence of our subjects, or rather the complete lack of it. The mechanics of gameplay in Zombie Terror are inspired by a cult classic series called Lemmings.

Days Gone takes place in America, two years after a global virus outbreak which transformed millions of people into zombie-like monsters called “freakers”. During the game the player assumes the role of a former member of a motorcycle club who is trying to come to terms with the fact that he lost the love of his life.
Sniper Elite 4

The fourth major installment in the popular tactical first-person shooter series by Rebellion, in which we assume the role of a trained sniper fighting on various fronts of the World War II. In Sniper Elite 4, we control Karl Fairburne, the protagonist of the previous games, who is sent from North Africa to the Apennine Peninsula. His mission is to cooperate with the Italian resistance in order to help the Allied forces that are pushing to the north.
Borderlands 3

An FPS created by Polish developer The Farm 51, mainly known for the NecrovisioN franchise and the latest installment in the Painkiller series. The game tells a story of a man whose profession involves tying up loose ends for governments and influential persons. The protagonist’s situation complicates when one of his potential victims decides to fight back. The story is presented from the twin perspectives of the two rivaling characters.
State of Decay: Lifeline

The first large expansion to the popular survival game State of Decay. This sandbox title created by Undead Labs takes the player to a post-apocalyptic world overrun by a zombie plague. The player must rebuild the human society. The expansion adds a new campaign, the completing of which takes a few hours. The campaign tells a completely new story. The game takes place in a small city called Denforth, where the protagonist is sent in order to save the scientists that are there.

Upon starting the game, one has to create his own machine using a basic, yet broad range of components. Gears of War 4

Styx: Shards of Darkness

Once again you play as the goblin assassin known from the first installment and the RPG Of Orcs and Men. The protagonist goes to the city of Körangar, a stronghold of the Dark Elves. There he discovers that a secretive meeting of the Elves and the Dwarves is just a cover for a dangerous conspiracy of the goblin-hating races.
