Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Aquanox: Deep Descent

A futuristic submarine simulator with action elements. It is a sequel to the popular Aquanox series that was released in years 2001-2002. This installment was developed by the Serbian studio Digital Arrow known for InMomentum. The plot of Deep Descent takes place in a world in which due to the pollution of the surface the humanity was forced to move its civilization under water. However, many dangers awaited there, including mutated sea creatures and hostile human factions.

During the game we can use 30 types of weapons and several dozen abilities modifying the game. The title supports the local co-op mode for up to four people.

The game takes us to a world of future, in which heavy-armored mercenaries take part in fierce fights against hordes of aliens. Continuation of the original production of Coffee Stain studio from 2011, which is a unique combination of classic FPS shooter with tower defense strategy elements. In terms of mechanics, Sanctum 2 does not introduce any revolutionary changes to the gameplay, focusing in particular on the new set of maps. The game still boils down to the proper deployment of defensive structures to prevent the next waves of aliens from destroying the energy nucleus, located in the central part of each location.
