Your journey through the world of Endling will be full of hardships. On this page, you can view possible endings to the adventure and learn how to unlock them all.

How many endings there are in Endling?
There are 2 different endings to Endling, depending on what you do regarding the badger mother.
- If you visit key locations and help badger mom at the right moment, she will return the favor by accepting your cubs when the heroine dies.
- The other option is to don't help badger mom - in that case, once the heroine dies at the end, the fox cubs are left without their mother, meaning certain death for them.
How to unlock the badger ending?
During the initial nights, badger mom appears in various locations and defends her food. As a result, she will be aggressive towards your heroine and a short combat sequence will take place as you interact with her.
It may turn out that during the fight, you'll drop the carried food, which you won't be able to pick up again. The area where the badger mom is found will be temporarily blocked, so if you wanted to go there, you will have to find another way.
Over the course of 9 days, while tracking down the missing cub, you will encounter the same badger trapped in a snare. You can now make a choice - either free the badger mom (this way you'll see her later on) or leave her, thus ensuring her certain death.
If you free the badger mom from the trap, you will meet her again during the 17th night. The badger mom will be injured, and on the hill next to it you will see a trapped baby badger, which you can rescue. The place will be marked on the map as an event, with an orange icon in the shape of a question mark.
Rescuing the baby badger requires a little effort. You'll need to circle the Scavenger while avoiding being detected (as he is equipped with a shotgun that kills with a single shot) and pick up and carry the baby badger. Backtrack back to the badger mom and deliver the cub.
Rescuing the badger cub results in an achievement - Maternity.
As you unlock the 3rd lair, the small badger and his mom will visit it to rest. Sometimes, the badger will give you a piece of food if you stay in front of the lair before the day comes.
During the final moments of the game (escaping the doom) you'll see the badger mom mourning her dead cub. She will help you escape and when the Furrier captures you, she will take in your cubs.
