NBA Live 20

This case can be painful if you are a loyal fan of sports games. NBA Live 20 was supposed to refresh the whole series – restore the shine of the franchise, rebuild its reputation after the poorly received NBA Live 19 and break the monopoly of 2K Games.

However, we won't find out how the new NBA Live was supposed to look like any time soon. According to EA president, Andrew Wilson, the next installment of the series will arrive with the new generation of console platforms. The publisher wants to take advantage of greater technical capabilities of the new equipment. Who knows, maybe it's the right decision, since the developers want to make their brand recognizable once again and compete with NBA 2K. Or maybe EA just doesn't know when to quit.
