What kind of game is this?

Grandpa Wolf3d in a new installment which is absolutely well-made. An absolute classic of all FPS, that is, B. J. Blazkowicz himself returned in another game in the Wolfenstein series, this time to an alternate version of the story set in the 1960s. of 20th century. Of course, there was no shortage of Nazis to shoot, there was even a noncampy Polish plot and a generally interesting storyline. Wolf thankfully hasn't forgotten his roots and the shooting itself has been as enjoyable as ever, with simple environmental puzzles added to it. Great reviews went hand in hand with good sales, which eventually totaled over 20 million copies.

What do we owe to Wolfenstein: The New Order?

Wolfenstein: The New Order has shown that the Bethesda studio is doing a great job of bringing back the iconic 1990s shooters. They understand their essence, their atmosphere, but also the direction they need to go in order to be attractive to contemporary productions and to new generations of players. The New Order not only paved the way for the sequel to Wolf, but also for the reboot of Doom, whose next two parts proved to be just as great in every way. In addition, a number of titles nostalgically alluding to 1990s shooters have also been released among independent games. Veterans remembering the first part of Quake, Duke or Hexen really have something to choose from.
