Isn't it ironic that the publisher who has been prophesying the end of single-player games first releases two parts of Star Wars Jedi, and now will deliver Immortals of Aveum? These are the games focused entirely on single-player experience. The upcoming game from Ascendant Studios offers a fresh approach to the FPS genre. Instead of typical weapons, the player's arsenal consists only magic powers.

Of course, the magic used here resembles the weapons that can be found in standard shooters. At the same time, however, Immortals of Aveum is related to DOOM and Bulletstorm, which only intensifies the atmosphere of the game and increases its unique character. The use of Unreal Engine 5 allowed to achieve beautiful visuals, and even during dynamic fights there is something to hang your eye on. Luckily, the launch of the game hasn't been postponed to a distant date.
