What is Demon's Souls?
The Dark Souls series needs no introduction, but not everyone realizes that it all began with Demon's Souls. While not as popular, it was the first game that began FromSoftware's dance of life and death with the players. The original was released in 2009, and this time we will get a remake from a completely different team. Demon's Souls was remastered by Bluepoint Games, the same people who gave us the successful remake of Shadow of the Colossus. It will be the same game, but created using today's technology.
Demon's Souls is a remake the fans needed?
Demon's Souls is a love letter to Dark Souls fans. The remake promises to improve the visual setting, which should be adapted to modern standards. The production should fully use the power of the PlayStation 5 – after all, it will be a game exclusively dedicated to this console. On top of that we've got declared improvements of controls, typically high level of difficulty and the introduction of minor improvements. Asynchronous multiplayer will appear in the storyline campaign, thanks to which we will be able to leave messages to other players, fight with opponents together or invade other people's worlds. However, the price of the game – in the end, only a remake of an existing title – is highly debatable.
