Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War. The best new games on PlayStation 5

Call of Duty among the best games? That's not something we're accustomed to seeing. However, it's a bit different with PlayStation 5, as the revolutionary DualSense controller triggers are again crucial. Thanks to them, shooting with rifles in FPS literally gains a new dimension. No more primitive, identical for different situations, vibrations when spitting lead. The gamepad from PS5 in Black Ops - Cold War adjusts the vibration to the speed of the weapon and remains perfectly synchronized regardless of whether it is a series of three bullets or continuous fire. You can also feel the vibrations when reloading.

Even better effects occur when pulling the trigger. Guns put much less resistance than sniper rifles, and it gets really interesting with LMGs that heat up. The effects are different for each weapon model and translate into a completely new and unusual shooting experience. And if you should find it distracting, you can easily disable this feature so as not to be disturbed during multiplayer games.

In the campaign, however, we can count on quite an interesting experience, and not only because of the PS5 triggers. Treyarch delivered an interesting plot, full of twists and turns of action and ingenious references to the older installments of the series. We'll also be surprised to see the gameplay mechanics that are completely new to this series, such as the choice of dialogue options or a character wizard. The campaign itself turns out a bit short, but if we are going to spend a lot of time in network modes, Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War will be a good choice for the beginning of the adventure with PS5.
