AC: Valhalla is the prettiest assassin so far.
  1. Release: 12 November 2020
  2. Developer: Ubisoft
  3. Genre: action RPG

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla had quite a debatable launch. On the one hand we got a really interesting game, catering to fans of the series about assassins and lovers of open worlds with a lot of things to do. However, there was a ton of errors and general technical underdevelopment in all this. Fortunately, successive patches removed these shortcomings, allowing us to enjoy one of the most atmospheric and beautiful installments of the series. This is partly due to the historical period and the places we visit. The story of the valiant Eivor and the Viking invasions turned out a hit, and the landscapes of Norway and England are truly captivating.

This is where PlayStation 5 really shines, as AC: Valhalla runs on it at 4K @60 frames per second (with occasional drops). Combined with the vast, open world of the new Assassin's Creed, this makes Valhalla (at least for this moment) a great game to admire the new graphic capabilities of next-gen. It is only a pity that the advantages of the new technology in DualSense pad triggers have not been utilized.
