The match-3 mechanics are more complicated and different strings of symbols allow you to charge your spells and match attacks to enemies.

When starting the game, players can choose between several classes, then develop their character using experience points. In addition to singleplayer, PvP battles are also available. To top it all off, Puzzle Quest 3 is one of few games in this genre with 3D graphics, albeit stylized to retain the feel of previous installments.

All this makes it one of the best match-3 and RPG hybrids on the market and definitely the most interesting release of 2021.
