What is World of Warcraft: Shadowlands about?
The latest expansion pack to a probably the best-recognized MMORPG – World of Warcraft – does not change the rules of the game and does not introduce any revolutionary changes. It features four new locations where we'll traditionally find rallies, dungeons, quests, crowds of enemies to defeat and valuable items to collect. The main storyline is about the destruction of the barrier that separates the afterlife from reality, and we're sent to the eponymous shadowlands to discover the intrigue that led to this and save the souls of legends of the Warcraft universe .
What can you do for a hundred hours in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands?
MMORPGs are by definition designed to play for dozens of hours, and it's no different in this, distinctive for a genre, title. In World of Warcraft: Shadowlands we spend a lot of time upgrading our characters, collecting equipment and other accessories, cleaning dungeons and taking part in team rallies. A big novelty is a location called the Tower of the Condemned, which layout is randomly generated on each occasion, encouraging player to visit this place many times.
The creators also decided on so-called "time gates" which is sharing of the content of the expansion pack in installments. In such a situation, passing all rallies and dungeons requires waiting until the appropriate date when new features will be unlocked. In the meantime, you can gather XP, upgrade your character and grind, a must-have for fans of the genre and WoW series!

WHY WORTH IT? PLAYER'S OPINION
Question: The perfect time consumer in 2020? Answer: MMORPG game. Question: An excellent representative of this genre? Answer: World of Warcraft. If you're wondering about a title that will make you vanish into thin air for more than 100 hours, buy Shadowlands, pay a subscription, and don't thank me, because you're welcome in advance.
Blizzard designed the latest extension in such a way that you don't have to spend many hours to have everything done in World of Warcraft. At the same time, abundance of activities and attractions will cause, that you won't even notice when your hourly, screen-time counter hit three digits value. True story. It was my case and you know what was the most terrible thing about it? That there are still a lot of things I want to accomplish in the Shadowlands, and everything seems to indicate that I will be busy for the next few weeks.
I do not recommend.
