Blizzard, please, just don't mess this up!
Dragonflight might be a groundbreaking expansion to the legendary MMO, despite not bringing any revolution. It is designed to pave the way forward for the venerable World of Warcraft, reinforce the foundations and improve the core mechanics. However, Blizzard has been having a hard time lately, and it's possible that this whole affair will end up in something barely digestible. The fanbase's patience has been stretched a lot already, so I hope we will be at least okay this time!
A new chapter in the history of Warcraft
Shadowlands has concluded the first chapter in the history of the Warcraft universe and Dragonflight is about to open up the game to new ones. Therefore, we will get a brand new talent system (already available as part of the pre-patch), a class-race, special flying mechanics, modified professions, as well as many small improvements. Of course, there will also be dragon islands and the dragons themselves, which are the general theme of the entire expansion. This time, there will be no borrowed powers, which itself seems a good reason to celebrate.
