What's Metroid Dread?
Samus Aran will get more adventures, exclusive to Nintendo Switch. Metroid Dread is the fifth main installment in the series, continuing the story from Metroid Fusion. A space bounty hunter heads to the planet ZDR, drawn by a mysterious transmission sent to the Galactic Federation. He soon learns that the area has been overrun by merciless E.M.M.I. machines. As well as some dangerous life forms.
Buy a Switch for Metroid Dread?
The new Metroid does not require knowledge of the previous installments in the series. Although it is a continuation, it is also a standalone production at the same time, so you do not really need to know the other adventures of Samus Aran to enjoy the game. The gameplay is basically a classic metroidvania with a few novelties. These E.M.M.I. machines will turn out to be too powerful for our heroine, so in the early stages, you will have to save yourself by escaping, and using new skills, such as camouflage.

What is Back 4 Blood?
Are you familiar with the Left 4 Dead series? Turtle Rock Studios was responsible for the first part, and the whole thing was published by Valve. Since the owners of Steam don't want to release Left 4 Dead 3 (it's common knowledge, after all, that Valve doesn't know how to make third parts), the original developers released their own part three. And so, Back 4 Blood was born, which is nothing more than a modern Left 4 Dead with a handful of new ideas.
Since Left 4 Dead 3 is out of the question, why not get Back 4 Blood?
Fans of network gameplay will have reason to rejoice, as Back 4 Blood promises to be suitably bloody. This title will offer a story campaign that will be played with bots or in co-op mode, and will throw in some PvP fun where players will take on either humans or zombies. The gameplay is varied by a system of cards selected before the match. They directly influence the skirmish, for example by deciding on additional talents, weather conditions or enemy types.
