11. The First Kamehameha. 15 most important moments of Dragon Ball

Table of Contents

  1. Which series is it: Dragon Ball
  2. Starring: Kamesenin

At the start of the first series, Toriyama skillfully balanced between combat sequences and adventure scenes. Subsequent clashes were often interspersed with humorous situations and it was not yet known that in the future the latter would increasingly give way to the seriousness of Goku's deadly opponents.

At the beginning of the series, we couldn't even be sure of the strength and abilities of characters such as Yamcha, Kuririn or just Kamesenin. When in one of the first episodes the emaciated old man with difficulty climbed the wall in front of the burning mountain and after a while he almost fell off it, it was hard to suppose that he would be able to complete the task.

Besides, Kamesenin never really completed the task. He did extinguish the fire, but so what, since he also destroyed the entire mountain. Nevertheless, both his transformation into a bodybuilder and the incredibly powerful shockwave make a huge impression even today. Show of hands, who has ever tried to duplicate Kamesenin's feat! Has someone succeeded? Well, I haven't, but since it takes an ordinary person 50 years to learn this technique, I still have a lot of time!

Kamesenin's great comeback

Kamesenin retired informally after his fight with Piccolo Daimao. So he did not fight against Raditz, Vegeta and Nappa, or Freeza, Garlik, androids, Cell or Buu. From a mentor and one of those few heroes to beat Goku, he turned into a minor side character, a 300-year-old pervy gag. In Dragon Ballu Super , however, he finally made his comeback. Not only did he fight the resurrected Freza's army, but he also unexpectedly appeared at the Power Tournament. And there he did surprisingly well, eliminating Derkori and Ganos on his own, and in the manga version he even fought for a moment as an equal with Jiren himself.
