1. Goku's first transformation into an SSJ. 15 most important moments of Dragon Ball

Table of Contents

  1. Which series is it: Dragon Ball Z
  2. Starring: Goku, Kuririn, Piccolo, Gohan, Freeza

When Toriyama was creating the Freeza saga, no one thought that in a dozen or so years Dragon Ball fans would become fascinated by extending and dyeing Saiyan hair, both on the head and on the shoulders (with occasional eyebrow removal). Today, to people who have never been convinced by the story of Goku and the rest of the gang, the successive levels of Saiyan power may seem somewhat bizarre and not very original. It is impossible not to admit the critics are at least partially right - the SSJ4 from the GT was at least more original than a simple hair color change from the Super .

But that is a topic for another discussion. During the Freeza saga, transformation was something really fresh. The different color of hair and pupils was really just one of the elements of Goku's metamorphosis at the time. The igniter turned out to be the death of the main character's best friend - Kuririn. At that time, it seemed that at the moment Freeza ripped him to shreds, he finally ended the life of a noseless Earthling (only beings whose bodies were not destroyed could be resurrected).

Goku has never been one of those anime heroes who get nervous easily. Unlike Vegeta, the main character of the series focused on the pleasure of the fight itself, not wanting to annihilate or humiliate his rival at all costs. The moment Freeza killed Kuririn, Goku unleashed his anger and became (as it seemed at the time) the strongest person in the universe. And although since then there have been at least a dozen more dangerous enemies, and Goku has mastered the divine power level of Super Saiyan, it is the battle on the planet Namek that remained the most iconic , the most "epic" and the most heart-touching ... Unless you think otherwise. If so, be sure to write about it in the comments!
