Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, dir. Rian Johnson, Netflix, 2022
  1. Director : Rian Johnson
  2. Genre : Comedy/Detective
  3. Movie length : 2 hours 19 minutes
  4. Where to watch: Netflix (premiere - December 23)

The list ends with a title that is worth watching as soon as possible (even at the Christmas table, then we'll have a home cinema substitute). Glass Onion is the second part of the masterfully executed Knives Out directed by Rian Johnson. Daniel Craig returns as the peculiar Benoit Blanc once again, and this time things are even more confusing.

Johnson creates an intricate intrigue, and we watch with delight the actions of his heroes. Noteworthy are all kinds of roles, in particular that of Edward Norton - the American proves that as an actor he can play literally anyone (watch the film and you'll understand!). If you are a fan of the first part or miss Agatha Christie's novels, then this movie is for you. Plus, by the way, Glass Onion takes the viewer seriously. The director drops clues, does not leave unnecessary traces and does not use measures to throw us off the investigative track. Everything here is well-thought-out, narratively bold, and additionally seasoned with a specific, albeit powerful sense of humour.
