Challenges Two-fer
Kill two possessed with a single shotgun shot.
After you restore the power at the start of the level you should go back to the first location and use the small panel on the post. This will unlock passage leading to the floor below. There you will find two Possessed. Kill them and go further, to the narrow passage with two other opponents. It is best to complete this challenge on them. Simply hit them both with the butt of the rifle and then position yourself so that they are in one line for the shot. Use the Charged Burst upgrade which will allow your shotgun to fire a few bullets in one quick series.
Variety is the Spice of Death I
Perform five different Glory Kills on the Possessed.
It is best to perform Glory Kills on the two first groups of encountered Possessed. To make them different, always try to stand under different angle towards the opponent before you perform the execution.
Quite the Explorer
Find 3 secrets.
Restore facility power
At the start of the mission you will learn about a new way of obtaining weapon upgrades - the Mission Challenges . From now on at the start of each mission you will receive a challenge list for completing which you are awarded with upgrade point. In this level you must kill two Possessed with one shotgun shot, perform 5 different Glory Kills on the Possessed and discover 3 secrets. You can complete the second challenge very quickly [1] . First kill a group of Possessed and the Imp that are ahead of you. Kill the Imp in first order, then play with the remaining opponents by performing Glory Kills on them. In order to perform different executions, you must walk towards the stunned opponents from different angles. By attacking from the front, side and the back you should easily perform three kill types. Once you're done, open the door on the left and kill the enemies inside the corridor in similar manner. If you will repeat the executions from different sides, your protagonist will surely perform at least five different types and complete the challenge.
At the end of the tunnel you will find few items and a panel that allows restoring power. Once you do it, turn around and jump above the corridor.
By walking through the narrow corridor you will find the first secret, an additional armor [2] .
Now go back to the corridor below and use the Automap. In the room in which you started the level you will find a small panel using which will unlock passage to lower level. There other Possessed are waiting for you. You can perform aerial Glory Kill on them if you haven't completed the first challenge yet. Slightly further you will discover other enemies in a narrow passage. It is a perfect place to complete the second challenge [3] . In order to do it you will need a shotgun with Charged Burst. When two opponents will stand next to each other, hit them with rifle's butt once in order to stun them. Then position yourself so that they are in straight line. Properly used Charged Burst will kill both Possessed and allow you to complete the challenge.
Gain satellite array access
Slightly further you will have to face the Imps. It is a good idea to climb up early and pick up the green armor that is lying there. Once the battle is over, go back to the same place in which the armor was lying and go to the other side of the short sidewalk. In order to get to the platform on the left first jump on the handrail and them jump further.
At the top you will find a lever thanks to which you will unlock a Classic map below [4] .
After killing the enemies that were there, go back to the corridor where you fought Imps and open the door on the other side. Behind it you will find a group of Possessed and a Possessed Engineer. The latter will blow himself up if he gets close to you, so eliminate him from distance with a grenade.
Slightly further a longer battle will start. There will be many enemies, so remember about few things. Most of all, don't waste your ammunition on the Possessed - you will quickly run out of it and won't have anything to shoot at the larger opponents. Use the red barrels placed around to blow up few enemies at once. The best fighting position is behind the chests on the left. From there you won't be vulnerable to fire from all directions.
Once the encounter ends, go to the other side of the room and pick up the Data log [5] . The further path will lead you to the room on the right. Inside you will find a medical station which regenerates whole health and a chainsaw. The saw allows quickly killing weaker demons and gaining ammunition from them. Sadly, it is limited by fuel. The larger the demon, the more fuel you must use. Behind the nearby door another battle will start. In order to quickly get rid of a large group of enemies, destroy the red barrel on the left. An accurately thrown grenade will deal with them.
Find Yellow Access Key
After the battle you will be tasked with searching for a yellow key to the door on the other side. First use the panel next to the door to activate a hologram. Then go to the right from the yellow passage. There you will find a conveyor belt and behind it a tunnel leading to the elevator.
Pick up the green armor above and go forward. At the end you can jump to the right where you will find few Possessed and many useful items. There are also other yellow door there. You should go back here and open it after you get the key.
For now open the locked door nearby and walk to the next room.
Destroy the Gore Nest
At this point you will have to participate in a pretty hard battle, especially if you play on higher difficulties. First quickly destroy the Gore Nest without killing the Possessed walking around. They will soon prove to be useful as walking medical kits. When the nest is destroyed, many stronger demons will appear. To make things a bit easier at the start, quickly run to the left and kill the Imp that is there. Another one will be nearby on the right. Once you kill them, look at the place where the nest was. Nearby there is a barrel which you can blow up with a grenade. By doing so you will kill many enemies. The next phase of the battle is sadly harder. There will be many Imps and when they climb on the walls they will start shooting at you from all sides. Try avoiding them and first killing the larger enemies. A good position for the battle is on the lowest floor of the location. There you will find some covers and useful medical kits. Remember about using the chainsaw when you lack ammunition. It is best to use it on the Possessed soldiers.
Once the encounter ends, call elevator by using the panel at the bottom.
It will take you one level higher. There you will find the yellow key and a robot with upgrades. After buying the second Shotgun upgrade you will be upgrade to switch between them during the combat. Further path leads through the door next to which the key was lying. The short corridor will lead you to a place with yellow door which now can be opened. However, before you do it you should uncover few secrets.
Go back to the elevator behind the net on the right and walk through the tunnel to the second yellow door which you previously bypassed.
Behind it there is a computer which unlocks another passage. Turn right after leaving the room and go forward while observing the right side. There will be a hatch there which you can open.
After killing few enemies inside you can go straight or to the left. On the left you will find an Elite Guard [6] and ahead there is a Pulse rifle (you must jump one level above through the open hatch).
Turn around once you pick the new weapon and jump to the tunnel above.
It will lead you to another room at the end of which there is one more tunnel. It will lead you to a room with armor and with one more Elite Guard [7] . Now you can walk through the yellow door.
Realign the Resource Ops satellite
Turn right behind the door and pick up the Heavy Assault Rifle. Inside you will also find a Medical station and additional armor. After collecting it use the panel at the entrance to open the hatch.
Open another door behind it and walk outside. There you will have a long and hard encounter. First get rid of three closest enemies with a shotgun, then shoot down the Imps on the other side with the pulse rifle. If you lose too much health, pick up the medical kit hidden on the left. Near the Imps that shot you from ahead you should notice the first power up. It's Berserk which allows you to perform Glory Kills on all enemies no matter how much health they have. It works only for limited amount of time. Power ups are very powerful enhancements that are usually available during long and hard battles. In most cases you should keep them for later phases of the fights, when stronger opponents appear. But not this time. During this battle the majority of opponents appear at the start, so pick up the Berserk as fast as possible and use it well.
You might have the greatest trouble with the new enemy type, the Possessed Security. This enemy is holding a shield and it is very hard to get through it. However, this enemy is slow, so you can run around it quickly and shoot it few times at the back. The armor on the other side of the location can be useful during the battle.
The further path leads to an elevator near the mentioned armor. Before you use it, jump on the chest on the left. There you can climb on the ventilation shaft.
Walk through it to the right, turn around and climb even higher. Go straight and observe the right side.
There will be a point in which you can climb on the roof. On the right side of the roof there is a hatch which leads to the same place as the elevator below.
Before you get there, go to the other side of the roof and pick up the Bronzeguy [7] hidden in the short tunnel. After jumping through the hatch below, examine the corpse nearby and then go back through the elevator to the place where you fought.
Go to VEGA terminal
Now you must get to the place marked on the map. Kill the Imps on your way and climb on the metal construction in front of the elevator.
A good climbing point is marked by the green lights.
Open the large door after getting to the other side. Behind the door there are three strong opponents. Use a grenade on them. Run around the enemy with the shield and shoot him from behind. Behind another passage a short battle with Imps will start. Kill them quickly and use the computer on the right side. It will open nearby door from behind which a Possessed Soldier will run. Once the creature is dead, pick up the Data Log on the left [8] and then carefully walk to the recently opened corridor. It is best to kill the enemies inside from far, leaving only the soldier with the shield alive. This will allow you to safely walk around and finish him.
Go to the room on the left after the battle. There you will find another Elite Guard [9] and you will unlock further passage to the VEGA terminal. Once you receive the Argent Cell that allows enhancing your character and once you listen to a long speech, go to the round room and look right.
There will be a large chest through which you can climb to higher level and obtain the final Bronzeguy figurine in this level [10] . After picking it up you can go back to the terminal and to the room on the right where the level will end.
