At the release date, the game offers:
- A career mode (with a simple model of economy and progression)
- A free mode (sandbox)
- Cooking School (tutorials)
- 67 real recipes to complete
- Visual customization (but not the layout or functionality) of the kitchen
- 2 mini-games related to knife throwing and the ability to play with gravity in the sandbox mode
- A radio with 3 pieces of David Bowie and other (unimpressive) "radio stations"
- The ability feed your own music into the radio (in .mp3 format )...
- ...and (streaming) of Internet-broadcasts
- The ability to take a mandatory picture of the food (with filters!)
- The ability to prepare any dish that we dream of...
What the title does NOT offer:
- ...but only for our own satisfaction, because, unfortunately, the game has no mechanisms that analyze dishes outside the prepared list, so we do not get money or score for such a dish
- the ability to introduce own recipes \ their scores
- flour and recipes that require its use, baking cakes and yeast fillings
- unlimited physics for slicing. Unfortunately, we can cut each thing only a couple of times, which translates into large simplifications in the context of, for example, fries - you can't slice a potato into realistically thin fries, which it matters since the dish "proportions" are often calculated from the weight of the sliced ingredients (recipe exactly specifies).
