Control AWE: Game length

On this page of our game guide to Control you can find out how long it takes to complete the AWE DLC add-on. We have prepared information about the length of the main story missions and the number of additional attractions which can be discovered in the AWE expansion set.

1. It should take you about three hours to complete the story missions of the AWE expansion set. There are only 3 main missions to complete, but each one (especially the second one) is long. Time spent with the game can also be prolonged by lost confrontations. In the DLC you will have to take part in many demanding battles with ordinary opponents and subsequent encounters with the main boss, in which you can die quite easily.
2. It may take another 2-3 hours to carefully examine and explore the whole Investigations Sector. In virtually every major area you can find some secrets or containers filled with valuable loot.
3. In addition to the main tasks, there are some side missions available. They are not very time-consuming, but most of them involve visiting several different locations in different parts of the sector. Travelling to other areas can be carried out by using the fast travel feature.
4. Unlocking all trophies of the DLC in 100% is not very demanding. In addition to examining the sector, you must, among other things, play one game in the Arcade Mode, or kill opponents in specific ways. The trophy Vending Spree trophy consists in discovering some paranormal vending machines. You need a bit of luck here - if you are particularly unlucky with finding alternated vending machines it can take you up to a few hours to finally find them.
