How you can use the support (rewards for score streaks) in Black Ops 4? Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Guide and Tips
Last update: 17 October 2018
Support, also known as special rewards for points gained during the round, can be used to inflict enormous damage on your opponents. You earn these points for your achievements on the battlefield: completing mission objectives, killing, destroying enemy gadgets and drones. If you get the right amount of points (each gadget has its own amount of points that you have to gain in order to be able to activate it), you will receive a message that reminds you about the unlocked prize.
- To unlock a prize you need a certain amount of points - you must earn them before you die. They are deleted after death.
- After your death, you keep unlocked gadgets you haven't used and the "maximum points level" from the first gadget - if you don't use it now, it will be easier for you to unlock more advanced rewards..
- When you use a prize from a higher point requirement, the one from the lower one is still available (it is not replaced by it).
- You can change prizes by selecting and pressing the "Score Streaks" button from the multiplayer menu.
- At the same time you can choose three prizes that you will use during the matches, and each costs a certain amount of score.
- New rewards will be unlocked along with the character level. Despite that you have access to a list of rewards and a description of their effects.
- You can reduce the number of score needed for a streak, select the Encryption Mod for your equipment (the number of points that is reduced is described in blue on the list of reward selection).
Guide 1: There are basically three options for selecting rewards: cheap, easy to unlock, expensive - preferably with a similar number of points: if you can pull a long series of kills, at the end of the round you can activate all the support at once gaining a huge advantage on the battlefield; balanced - choose rewards so that you can unlock at least one of them, and optionally leave the strongest one to yourself as an option. In fact, the choice of expensive rewards should depend on whether you are able to unlock them.
Guide 2: When you get to know the different rewards, it's a good idea to choose a Support Package - usually, rewards found there are worth more than the whole packet (you may often find a turret there).
