Map and description of interesting locations in Black Ops 4 Blackout Mode Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Guide and Tips

The map located above contains the following information:

1. Potential spawn locations of the helicopters,
2. Locations of zombies that guard mystery boxes,
3. Entrances to the underground/cellars/tunnels.

Down below you will find a description of selected locations in the Blackout mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which have quite unique features. Not every one of them, however, is a good starting location: it depends on your strategy for the particular game.

The Asylum

The Asylum is a location that is almost always visited by players. This is mainly due to the fact that you can find a variety of different types of items here, which will often prove sufficient for an entire four-person team, and it is almost a certainty that you will find a lot of zombies here, protecting a mystery box. If you prefer to avoid direct confrontations with other players, the adjacent structures (shacks and the glasshouse, labyrinth and abandoned house) are also suitable for gathering a large number of items.

If you go to the first floor, you will find an Easter Egg: approach the toilet near the window in the southern part of the building, and use the flush 3 times. You will activate a song that will resound throughout the location (which can also be used to distract opponents and prevent them from hearing your footsteps). The song is Lullaby for a Deadman from Call of Duty: World at War.

The Cemetery

Cemetery - here you can hunt down zombies and quickly collect a lot of equipment.

The Cemetery is a location almost adjacent to The Asylum. It is located about 100m to the south. This is a great starting location: you will rarely find any opponents here, and after collecting good weapons you can go on a hunt for players who are leaving The Asylum. You can almost have complete confidence that you will find a mystery box here and a lot of zombies guarding it; to the north, you will usually find a quad bike.

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse - you will often find a golden weapon at the top.

The lighthouse is located in the south-west. If the helicopter drops do not land nearby, you will not find other players here. You will often find zombies and a mystery box here. In addition to the water, only one, very exposed road leads to the location - if the game area narrows in this direction, you can prepare an ideal trap here for players seeking shelter.

1. Note that the stairs leading up inside the lighthouse are very noisy and can attract the attention of other players (it is also possible to fire at opponents through the gaps).
2. The place you should go to at the beginning is the top of the stairs in the lighthouse - very often you have a chance to find a powerful weapon there (e.g. a sniper rifle) or a fully upgraded, golden weapon.

Nuketown

Nuketown is a small town in the western part of the map. There are often at least a few players here, but not everyone knows about the bunker located near the town, which is similar to those known from the games of the Fallout series. This is where you will find most of the useful items. There are four entry points from the different ends of the town that lead to the shelter. You will often find a truck and a quad at the bridges leading to the location.

In the south-western part of the town, you will find a very interesting information board. Under the word Nuketown, you will see the word Population: it indicates the number of players currently located on the island. Thanks to this you can predict any imminent danger or set a good trap (preferably near the bridges).

The Construction Site

The Construction Site.

The Construction Site is one of the richest locations when it comes to the number of items to collect. It is a good starting location, but mostly if you desire to eliminate a large number of enemies - it is visited by players extremely often at the beginning of the game. It also has the highest building in the game, and it is difficult to get to the top of it in the later stages. The mentioned building is an excellent position for snipers. As a rule of thumb, it is usually very easy to find razor wires and barricades here.

The elevators which are located around the building lead from the ground level to the higher floors. However, they will not take you to the very top, and only up to about 3/4 of the height. Their noise is also heard throughout the building, so they can be used as a lure for opponents.

The Estates

The Estates.

In The Estates, you will find two residences. In this east, you can sometimes find supply crates and a helicopter landing pad, where a chopper will sometimes appear at the beginning of the game. In the estate on the east side (the one with the landing pad) you will often find a small weapon crate or sometimes even a large supply crate.

When leaving the location and heading south you will find a lot of smaller buildings that are rarely visited by other players at the beginning of the game. At the point on the road where both properties merge you will find a quad bike in case, you are in need of a quick evacuation.

The Fracking Tower

From the central building, you can open the bulkhead using the buttons by the window.

The Fracking Tower, due to its position in the central part of the map, is often visited both at the beginning as well as in the later stages of the game. Many players use the tall tanks as sniper positions.

1. A good starting location, especially when you go straight to underground tunnels right away. There are two entrances: between the water reservoirs on the north side and through the bulkhead which can be opened from the white building in the middle. If someone opens the bulkhead, you will most definitely hear it: a good strategy is to enter the tunnel from the north and prepare a trap.
2. In the tunnels, there is often a large supply crate where you can find rare items and good weapons.

In the middle of the complex, there is a fracking tower. You can climb it by using the ladder, and you will have a great view of a huge area around you when at the top. This is a great sniper position, especially when playing team games.

The small housing estate

In this exact location, in a small arbor in the middle of the estate, you will often find a larger or smaller supply crate.

This small location is very often frequented by players. It is a good place to get the first kills of the match in, and if you do not succeed, it is easy to get away safely from here.

1. Firstly, the arbor in the middle often contains a chest with secret content;
2. Secondly: the central house has an attic with only one entrance and a good view of the countryside - it is a great position for a sniper or for waiting out larger amounts of time.
3. Thirdly: it is generally close to everywhere if you need to make a getaway, and you will find quad bikes by the village to the north and below the hill from the east side.
