On this page of our guide, we explain the fast travel system present in Atlas Fallen. You'll learn whether such an option is available in the game, and if it is, how to unlock it.
Is there fast travel?
In short - yes, Atlas Fallen offers a fast travel system. This is a very useful feature, as the game offers a quite large open world, and exploring it on foot would be tiresome. It should be mentioned that there are several means of traveling in Atlas Fallen.
- On foot - the slowest way.
- Through Air Dash - this is a skill with several levels of proficiency, with it you can e.g. scale chasms.
- Rolling - similar to Air Dash, but happening on the ground.
- Sand sliding - a very fast means of traveling. If the surface isn't made of sand, this option will be reduced to sprint.
- Using Fast Travel - instant relocation to a different area.
Fast travel isn't available at any moment. So what are requirements to perform a fast travel?
Anvils and unlocking new destinations
In Atlas Fallen, you can use fast travel only to move between Anvil locations. You can find new Anvils all over the map, but you need to reach them on foot.
- Anvils have to be unearthed before they are operational. You need to find one and use Unearth to reveal it.
- Anvils are not immediately marked on your map, but Nyaal will comment once one is close.
Moreover, you can look for different colours on the ground - in the area where an Anvil is buried, the ground will shine blue.
