Colonial Era

Edicts of this category will help you to keep control over the society and earn some money as well.

To increase the level of popularity, you should issue the Extra Rations edict and hold a Mardi Gras. If you are short of money on your Swiss bank account, the Building Permit edict will be a good choice. If however, everything is falling down, you can issue Martial Law, which will suspend election and citizen rights.

Census is also a good decision, as it reveals secret roles of the citizens.

World Wars

Edicts from this era will allow you to reduce the number of rebels and will help you in developing your country.

As you enter the World Wars era, issue the Sovereign Debt edict. It is also advisable to initiate Social Security and Literacy Program, after inventing Socialism.

If you want to build a lot of factories, Industrialization will be helpful. Global Research Initiative will provide faster research and with Agricultural Subsidies your farms will increase their production by a half.

Cold War

The Cold War era introduces some important edicts that lengthen the life of citizens, as well as buildings.

You can also lower the need for food by issuing the GM Crops edict.
