In this chapter you will learn all the information you need to create a solid deck.
Card Deck Interface
The deck building interface in Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales can seem a bit unclear at first, especially for those players, who never played Gwent. All the functions and management capabilities of the Meve army are explained below.
- Filters - the player has the ability to filter the cards by of their type, rarity and color.
- Available cards - this window display all available cards. What's more, there are also cards that you have access to, but you haven't created them yet.
- Main panel of the deck - here you will find information about the number of cards in the deck and the army limit.
- The Deck - this is where the cards added to the deck are displayed.
Number of units
Building a deck in Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, you have to meet some requirements. The deck has to have at least 25 cards and no more than 40. In addition, when choosing the right cards, you have to pay attention to the army limit. In the picture above, in the upper left corner, you can see that the deck has 25 cards and uses 118/150 of the available space. This means that you can add more units to the deck because there is still room for it. It should be noted here that spell cards take up space on the deck, but do not affect the army's limit.
Army Limit
Each unit added to the deck will take up a certain amount of space for itself. This number is shown in the bottom right corner of the card. In the picture above, you can see the Reynard Odo card, which takes 9 slots.
How to increase the army limit?
If you want to increase the army limit and start recruiting better units, you need to expand your staff. Enter the workshop, select the appropriate bookmark and build a camp site. The extension is quite expensive, but it is worth to use the raw materials in your possession.
