There are four main types of cards with their own, special abilities.

Creatures

Basic units that one can use to engage into battle. They fall into different groups with different abilities. Each creature has attack and defense points, and magic cost that one needs to pay to play it.

  1. Magic cost - you need 4 magic points to play this card
  2. Unique gem - you can have only one card with a unique gem in your deck.
  3. Name.
  4. Type (Race/Origin).
  5. Attack points.
  6. HP.
  7. Info concerning additional abilities.
  8. Defines how rare the card is - there are four types of cards: normal (white gem), rare (blue gem), Epic (Violet gem), Legendary (gold gem).

Action cards

Action cards cause additional effects like dealing additional damage, instant minion killing, buffing a creature, healing your Hero, etc. Each deck should have at least a couple of such cards. Furthermore, Action cards have Prophecy ability.

Support

Support gives your minions long lasting effects - Types of cards - The basics - The Elder Scrolls: Legends Game Guide

Support gives your minions long lasting effects. It's especially effective with decks that focus on a significant amount of minions. Such effects will last until your opponent neutralizes them. Some Support can be used and then allow the Hero to boost one minion per turn.
