The Invincible is a narrative adventure game in which decisions play an important role. Therefore, it is possible that before making an important choice you will be tempted to save your game and undo the consequences. On this guide page you will find out if this is possible.
Autosave
The Invincible uses autosaves. At certain moments in the game, you will see a save icon in the corner of the screen - it means that you have reached the checkpoint. Since you can't die or lose in The Invincible, they are mainly useful if you decide to go back to a previous autosave or exit the game. Your game progress is saved in a single slot - each time you reach a new checkpoint, the previous save is overwritten and becomes unavailable.
Manual save
The Invincible does not have a manual save option. The game automatically saves at specific moments - you cannot save your progress in any other way. Each playthrough also has only one save slot - this means that the choices you make cannot be undone after seeing their consequences. Your actions are recorded in a comic book available in the pause menu which allows you create your own unique story.
Limited saves should not be too problematic, considering the lack of threat - however, this means that you will have to go through the game several times if you want to make different choices.
