Chang Wong in Chapter 2 (Three Days Earlier) | Bosses in The Hong Kong Massacre The Hong Kong Massacre Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 12 February 2019
Chang Wong, one of the bosses, is encountered at the end of The Hong Kong Massacre's second chapter. This page contains tips for defeating Chang Wong.
This is a mandatory boss fight that takes place after you complete all missions of the second chapter - Three Days Earlier.
We recommend taking a rifle with you. You should also purchase 10 Clip Size and Extra Clip upgrades for this weapon. If you don't have enough stars to buy them, try to complete challenges from the previous missions.
The fight with Chang Wong is very similar to the one you had at the end of the first chapter. The map is vertical. The main hero and Wong walk in separate corridors.
Shoot the boss whenever he gets close to any of the windows or other destructible parts of the wall. You don't have to use the slowmotion, but it can be helpful. Your character dies after one hit. Wong, on the other hand, has a health bar.
The boss has, to some extent, similar moves as your character. You don't have to keep moving up the screen and chase Wong. Try to stop in one spot for longer and look for a chance to shoot the boss while moving sideways.
You will encounter regular enemies, too. Try to shoot them before they manage to attack you. If your ammo is almost depleted, think about picking up a weapon dropped by one of the enemies. Sadly, everyone here is carrying the weakest weapon - a pistol. This is why we recommend upgrading your rifle. Good ammo management will allow you to complete the entire level with using only the rifle.
Defeat Chang Wong to unlock Good night, good luck trophy/achievement. Besides that, you will also receive 1 star.
