There are two types of units that you will encounter in the game: ground troops and space ships. Each group of units has their own buffs and debuffs, these status effects affect the behaviour of units on the battlefield either positively or negatively.
Ground troops - Buffs

Advantage | The next attack has a 200% chance of being a critical hit. | |
Backup Plan | The unit recovers 10% of its health per turn. In the event of a knockdown, the unit is resurrected with 80% health and 30% of the turn meter. | |
Critical Chance Up | N/A | The unit gains a bonus 25% chance of dealing a critical hit. |
Critical Damage Up | The unit gains a 50% increase in critical damage. | |
Critical Hit Immunity | The unit is immune to critical damage. | |
Defense Up | A 50% boost to the Defense stat. | |
Evasion Up | The unit has a bonus 15% chance of avoiding an attack. | |
Foresight | The unit has the maximum chance of avoiding the next attack. | |
Heal Over Time | The unit is healed each turn for a certain percentage of its health. | |
Health Up | The unit's health is increased by 15%. | |
Offense Up | The unit deals 50% more damage. | |
Potency Up | A 50% boost to the Potency stat. | |
Retribution | The unit has a 100% chance of counterattacking. | |
Speed Up | The unit gains a 25% bonus to speed. | |
Stealth | The unit cannot become the target of an attack (exception: the entire team has Stealth status). | |
Tactical Genius | N/A | The first unit affected by this status to use a special ability receives a small amount of healing and 100% of the turn meter. |
Taunt | A unit with this status forces its enemies to attack it. Note: there exist units which are immune to Taunt. | |
Tenacity Up | The unit becomes immune to debuffs and cannot receive any. |
Ground troops - Debuffs

Ability Block | A unit under this status cannot use special abilities. | |
Buff immunity | A unit under this status cannot receive any buffs. | |
Burning | A unit under this status receives constant damage from fire each turn. | |
Critical Chance Down | The unit suffers a 25% decrease in the chance to deal critical damage. | |
Damage Over Time | A unit under this status loses 5% of its maximum health with each turn. | |
Daze | A unit under this status cannot counter, assist, or gain turn meter. | |
Deathmark | The unit loses 50% of its maximum health with each received hit. A character with this status is also treated as a priority target (has the Taunt status effect). | |
Defense Down | A 50% reduction of the Defense stat. | |
Evasion Down | The unit suffers a 25% decrease of the chance to evade attacks. | |
Expose | The unit loses 20% of its maximum health per received hit. | |
Fracture | A unit under this status has speed set to 0, cannot gain buffs, bonus attacks, or bonus turn meter. | |
Healing Immunity | A unit under this status cannot receive healing or protection. | |
Health Down | The unit's health is reduced by 20%. | |
Marked Target | N/A | A unit under this status has the minimum chance of avoiding an attack and cannot gain Stealth status. |
Offense Down | The unit deals 50% less damage. | |
Shock | A unit under this status cannot receive healing, buffs, or bonus turn meter. | |
Speed Down | The unit's speed is reduced by 25%. | |
Stagger | A unit under this status loses 100% of the turn meter when it receives damage. | |
Stun | A unit under this status cannot perform any actions on its turn. | |
Tenacity Down | The unit has the maximum chance of getting a negative status effect from the opponent. | |
Thermal Detonator | The unit loses a certain percentage of its health after a certain number of turns (depending on the skill of the enemy unit that implements this debuff). |
Space ships - Buffs

Bonus Protection | A unit under the influence of this status receives a certain increase to its protection. | |
Damage Immunity | A unit under the influence of this status is immune to all damage. | |
Defense Up | A 50% boost to the Defense stat. | |
Evasion Up | The unit has a bonus 15% chance of avoiding an attack. | |
Master Plan | N/A | The unit that is affected by this status resets its cooldowns and gains 100% turn meter when using a special attack. |
Offense Up | The unit deals 50% more damage. | |
Retribution | The unit has a 100% chance of counterattacking. | |
Stealth | The unit cannot become the target of an attack (exception: the entire team has Stealth status). | |
Taunt | A unit with this status forces its enemies to attack it. Note: there exist units which are immune to Taunt. | |
Valor | N/A | The Endurance receives 20% of the turn meter and the cooldown of its ultimate ability is reduced by one turn at the end of each turn of a unit affected by the Valor status. |
