Each unit has 6 available slots for gear of a certain gear level. This means that once all 6 pieces have been collected, it is possible to advance to higher levels of equipment, which also increases the overall power level of the character. Equipment can be acquired in Light Side Battles and Dark Side Battles, as well as upon completing battles in the Challenges section. From time to time, there will also be special Events that will give you the opportunity to acquire more gear. The current maximum level of a character's equipment is 12, but reaching such a level takes a very long time and usually only applies to players with highest account level.
