Beginning
At the very beginning, you will encounter two opponents - they're about to turn their backs to each other, allowing you to quietly eliminate and interrogate them.
Then go on until you come across a footbridge with one soldier - question him for more information.
If you want to deal with this situation stealthily, you will have to approach at closer range and eliminate opponents with a gun. If you don't care about stealth, then make use of the sniper rifle and guns. After eliminating them, go further into the rock, climb, and then reach the location with one soldier - you can kill him right away.
Eliminate Antwan Zarz
Your target will have a fixed route, which he doesn't deviate from - from one building to another, and he will occasionally walk to the soldiers standing at the table among the containers.
It is easiest to first eliminate the enemies on the roof of the left building pictured in the screenshot above, as the soldiers often line up, allowing you to kill them with one shot. On the left side of the same building, on the stairs, is another lone soldier - take him down. There's a sniper on the right side of the roof next to the building, and it's also worth neutralizing him, same as another lone soldier next to a fuse box further away, to the right, as well as a soldier at the edge of the base, also to the right (they split up at some point, take down the lower one first).
To make sure no one notices Antwan was killed, eliminate the three soldiers on the top of the roof of his building, and then destroy the fuse box; this will make Zarza come out of the building, exposing him to a clean shot. First, however, shoot the hook on which the container is hanging. You will have a clear shot.
Eliminate Cpt. Ronald Payne
On the way to the sniper post, you will encounter several patrols as well as a small town. It's a good idea to first eliminate the two soldiers located next to an abandoned building pictured in the screenshot below (they will spend some time talking and then they will split).
Pay attention to the green crates at the entrance to the building - you'll find a collectible.
If you really want to dispose of the enemies in the town, it is better to do it quietly at close range if you have just started playing Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 (due to not having a silencer on the sniper rifle). You can also bypass them and continue on towards the mountains. There you will find a few guards outside the station, which are easily eliminated. Inside the station, you will find a maximum of 3-4 opponents. If you want to get past some of the guards, you can use the passage on the left side of the entrance (in the player's location from the screenshot below).
Then head left into the cave - you will encounter some enemies here as well, who are very easy to eliminate quietly. Keep going until you get out of the cave. Inside the ruins, you will encounter a maximum of 4 enemies. One of them, as in the screenshot below, will approach the cave entrance from time to time - it's worth lying in wait for him in the bushes and interrogating him.
All opponents in this location are quite far apart, so even if you fail to eliminate them quietly, you can dispose of them pretty easily. One of your opponents will walk up to the turret from time to time (from the perspective of the above screenshot, the opponent will be on the right), the next one is in the ruins with columns, while the last one is located between 2 columns in front of the stairs (as in the screenshot below).
Climb the stairs to the top and head left to the sniping position. Here you will find mines, C4 and ammunition. The captain is protected by 2 snipers, one on each side of the base - it's a good idea to eliminate them first.
Captain Ronald Payne will be walking around the base, from one group of soldiers to another, passing by a vehicle workshop. The easiest way to dispose of him quietly is by using the vehicle that is on a lift in the workshop.
To eliminate him in the workshop, shoot the first vehicle on the lift to set off the alarm. When Ronald arrives in the area, he'll start looking into what happened and he'll walk under the lift.
When your target walks under the vehicle, shoot at the fuse box - in the screenshot above, the box has been marked. The lift will drop violently, killing captain Payne. Now is the time to escape from the location, unless you intend to clear out the enemy base. If you want to do it quietly, track down all lone guards and make sure to shoot at the generators, antennas, yellow barrels as well as fuse boxes to separate the soldiers.
Eliminate Col. Fyodor Novikov and sabotage the satellites
The sniper turret will be very useful during this mission (preferably with an upgrade that increases its range). Head to the interior of the cave - you will encounter some opponents there. They are very easy to eliminate. After entering the cave, you will find a rock ledge to the left that has camouflage to collect. The exact location is pictured in the screenshot below.
In this mission, you can complete two contracts at the same time. It is recommended to deal with the satellites first, because Novikov is hiding in one of the buildings and we will need to lure him out. You will find the satellites on the right and left sides (powered by large-sized generators). To disable the satellites, it is necessary to disconnect them from the power supply and it's good idea to destroy the generators on the left side of the base first.
First, we recommend eliminating the soldier who moves away from the others every now and then (as in the screenshot above). Soldiers near this generator quite often patrol alone, so wait for the right moment to eliminate them one by one and only then shoot down the fuse boxes.
This should force Novikov to come out, but if it doesn't work, go to the right side of the base and start disposing of the enemies protecting the generator - use the sniper turret if you encounter any issues (its max. range with upgrades reaches 1000 meters). Since Novikov will want to check why the antennas do not work, head up the stairs to the building on the left of the base (the one with the satellite). If you have a turret, target and shoot him down as soon as he gets inside. If you don't have a turret, once the curtains in the building fall, quickly shoot at the fuses located on the roof. The curtains will go up, and you'll have a small window of time to eliminate Novikov.
